The Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics and Management will contribute to the College of Business’s mission through excellence in teaching, research, and service. The role involves delivering high-quality, student-centered education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conducting impactful research aligned with international standards, and contributing to the strategic goals of the College through academic leadership, program development, and community engagement.

Teaching & Learning Deliver high-quality and innovative teaching in economics, management, and related business disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Contribute to curriculum development, review, and enhancement in line with AACSB and CAA standards. Supervise student research projects and internships. Employ inclusive, technology-enhanced, and student-centered pedagogical approaches. Research & Scholarly Activity Conduct high-quality and original research with measurable impact. Publish regularly in peer-reviewed, high-ranking journals (e.g., Scopus, ABDC, ABS lists). Pursue external research funding and foster partnerships with academic, industry, and government stakeholders. Academic Leadership & Service Actively contribute to departmental, college, and university committees and strategic initiatives. Support accreditation and quality assurance processes (e.g., AACSB, EQUIS, CAA). Participate in outreach, community engagement, and knowledge transfer activities. Mentor junior colleagues and support a collaborative academic culture. Administration & Reporting Prepare teaching, research, and accreditation-related reports in a timely and accurate manner. Contribute to strategic and operational planning within the College. Undertake other duties assigned by the Dean or line manager.

Accreditation & Quality: Support accreditation and quality assurance processes by preparing evidence, contributing to assurance of learning, and promoting continuous improvement. Innovation: Advance teaching and research excellence through innovative practices, digital integration, and evidence-based approaches. Research & Collaboration: Enhance the College’s research profile through interdisciplinary projects, funded research, and industry or government partnerships. Academic Leadership: Mentor junior faculty, share expertise, and foster a culture of collaboration and scholarly excellence. Community Engagement: Build partnerships with business and community organizations to strengthen societal impact and knowledge transfer. Governance & Reporting: Participate in committees, contribute to academic decision-making, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

المؤهلات والخبرة المطلوبة
PhD in Economics, Management, or a closely related discipline from an internationally recognized and accredited university. Minimum of 5 years of relevant higher education experience in teaching and research. A strong and consistent record of peer-reviewed publications (Scopus/ABDC/ABS indexed). Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, program development, and contribution to accreditation processes (e.g., AACSB, EQUIS, CAA). Evidence of successful student supervision and mentorship. Proven ability to secure external research funding or engage in consultancy projects is desirable. Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Priority consideration will be given to UAE Nationals.
